The Instituto Reciclantes removes women, children and men from precarious work related to urban waste. We carry out basic human rights protection, distribute basic resources and carry out professional training to improve the quality of life and work of people in this condition in Rio de Janeiro. "Hope can and will heal the world"
About Us
What do we want to solve?
Here at Reciclantes, the value proposition is to bring technical training and community strengthening to social groups directly involved in the handling of solid waste. We want to be a catalyst for positive changes, as we are driven by the perception that solid waste management is a fundamental job in our current society, in the social and economic spheres. In this way, our initiative focuses on tracking needs, identifying opportunities, training low-income entrepreneurs (collectors or receivers) and making progress to help the market relate to these actors that are so necessary for waste management in the city.
